These short videos give you a quick overview of each of the Photorun routes.
They show you an animated map of the route,  some of the sights you can see along the way, and what the route would look like if you were doing it at high-speed on empty streets. There is also a detailed blog of each of these areas 
which will provide you with all the information you need to do the Photorun, including a video of the route, interactive maps, sights, 360 views, and links to other blogs in the area.

Photorun Detailed Information

Each of these photoruns has a dedicated blog-style page that gives you all the information you need in one place so that you can do the Photorun at your own pace. They are designed to be done in the early morning at the weekend when there are no crowds, the air is cleaner, the light is better and the experience is magical.

Part 1 - Thames Barrier to Royal Victoria Dock

Part 1  goes from Pontoon Dock DLR (near the Thames Barrier) to the Royal Victoria Dock DLR and is about 3 Km long.  It is both scenic and quiet. The route takes you to the Thames Barrier Garden, the Thames Barrier, the Royal Victoria Dock, the ExCel London, the Emirates Cable Car, and the new  City Hall.

Part 1

Part 2 - Royal Victoria Dock to East India DLR

This short section of the Across London Visual Marathon goes from Royal Dock DLR to East India DLR and is about 3 Km long.  It has some scenic areas at the start, middle and end of the route, and it is quiet.     At the beginning of the run, it takes you passed the Royal Victoria Dock, the Emirates Cable Car for the O2, and the new  City Hall. It then travels along the Lower Lee crossing before turning left towards the historic Trinity Buoy Wharf, before returning and heading into the East India Dock Basin all that is left of the East India Dock) and finishing at East India DLR station.

Part 2

Part 3 East India DLR to Canary Wharf Station

This section (part 3) of the Across London Visual Marathon goes from East India DLR to Canary Wharf Station (Eastern entrance) and is about  2 Km long.       The start of the run is not that interesting, but it becomes a scenic 'cityscape' from the middle section to the end. It takes you from East India DLR, through Blackwall and then into Poplar Dock Marina. It then flows into Blackwall Basin and through the eastern entrance into Canary Wharf. From there, it explores the east side near Canada Square and South Dock before finishing at Canary Wharf's station by Jubilee Park Gardens.
